Covid Test information

(If your travel plan changes you can choose another time without registering again. The barcode you receive only works once and does not expire).

Covid tests are done at Suðurlandsbraut 34. There is an information centre, but information is also accessible on heilsuvera.is live chat. It is possible to come to Suðurlandsbraut 34, register for Covid-19 Ag Rapid Test, have a sampling on location and receive a certificate in about 30-40 minutes.

Suðurlandsbraut 34 - PCR Tests:

Weekdays: 08:15 – 12:00 and 12:45 - 16:00.

Weekends: 09:15 - 15:00.

Suðurlandsbraut 34 - Covid-19 Ag Rapid Tests:

Weekdays: 16:00-20:00.

Weekends: 09:00 - 15:00.

When Suðurlandsbraut 34 is closed, it is possible to contact Læknavaktin and get a certificate, but there is no sampling there. Læknavaktin is located in Austurver and is open from 17:00-23:30 and on weekends from 09:00-23:30. At Læknavaktin you will have to pay an arrival fee as well as the certificate fee.
